Water-resistant, sustainable and barely distinguishable from tropical wood – these properties provide a
wide range of possibilities. Our material is both: extremely durable and sustainable. Its composition of
rice husks, rock salt and mineral oil makes Resysta®environmentally friendly and extremely resistant to
environmental conditions such as sun, rain, snow or salt water. Be it for decking, facades, fences or
shipbuilding: Resysta® is optimally suitable for a wide application spectrum. In addition to its attractive
appearance, the fibre-reinforced hybrid material is completely water-resistant - making it perfect for
outdoor use.
The rice-husk innovation
During the ripening process, grains of rice are carefully protected by their husks, which ward off intensive
UV radiation and adverse weather conditions. Rice husks provide an incredible performance. After
harvesting, they are no longer needed and have to be disposed of... an expensive process. Resysta®
takes advantage of the valuable properties of the rice husks. Every day we are inspired by nature. We are
very happy to be able to put a waste product to such great use – for your benefit.
Just like its natural role model, it can be sawn, drilled, painted,
sanded and oiled. But it has significant advantages in comparison
to wood: Resysta® does not crack, Resysta® does not splinter,
and any cutting waste is 100 % recyclable. The maintenance of
Resysta® is similarly straight-forward: all it takes is to sit back and
relax.Resysta® does not only look like wood – it also feels like it.
Thanks to its special composition, the surface remains free of
cracks and splinters. Injuries caused by wood splinters are a thing
of the past. Even after many years, the material of the future
provides a perfect sense of well-being.

Resysta® is a hybrid material which consists mainly of rice husks.
Based on a special process, the rice husks are connected
homogeneously in a polymer matrix, thereby achieving their high
material resistance and the wood-like look an feel.
The main advantage lies in the long period of weather resistance.
Resysta does not rot and still retains its original strengh even after
decades. Moreover, Resysta can be varnished and painted in all
colours and therefore offers the option of colouring in a variety of
ways. Resysta also has a unique look and feel.
